How Do Dinosaurs Say Happy Chanukah? By Jane Yolen & Mark Teague

How Do Dinosaurs Say Happy Chanukah? By Jane Yolen & Mark Teague

I liked this book for two reasons. First, the author of the writing is engaging. I enjoyed the clever rhymes in the form of two questions and statements about what the dinosaurs do during Hanukkah. Early in the book, the author asks the reader various questions about dinosaurs misbehave during Chanukah. One example I like is: "Is this an act of Dinosaur on Hanukkah nights when Mom comes with the Christmas lights" The dinosaur is shown stomping across the room with his tongue as Mama door menorah Later?. history, author answers the question: "is it done this for each of the eight festival days?" by saying, "... not a dinosaur does not he sings every prayer, takes turns with. dreidel, remembers share. "with other statements about how dinosaurs behaved well during Hanukkah. I liked how the author turned the story around teaching valuable lessons for young readers as the importance of sharing and being considerate of others. the second reason I like this book is because illustrations greatly enhance the story. Each page has a different, unique and colorful dinosaur in His forms participation that the written text says dinosaur is doing. Dinosaurs are huge in comparison with humans, and they take over every page. On the first and last page of the book, all the dinosaurs are seen together with their specific names marked below. The big idea of this book is to teach children how Hanukkah is celebrated, and to teach children the importance of using different ways.

How Much Can a Bare Bear Bear? by Brian P. Cleary

How Much Can a Bare Bear Bear? by Brian P. Cleary

I really enjoyed this book for many reasons. The main reason I enjoyed this book because it is about homophones and homonyms students in a way that is humorous and understandable even for toddlers. I have not come across many books about the art of language concept, so this book is unique in that! I also like the bright and silly illustrations that illustrate different homophones and homonyms, which make it easier for students to understand the concept. I recommend this book to children in about the second year, because writing is not too complex, but perhaps a little too hard for ages younger than 7. It is always important to include a message in the books for children, because it is important for children to learn what they read and the book does not just that!

How Do Dinosaurs Eat Their Food? By Jane Yolen & Mark Teague

How Do Dinosaurs Eat Their Food? By Jane Yolen & Mark Teague

The book seems to be to help children develop good table manners by American Incorporating Their fascination with dinosaurs. I appreciated the attempt to teach table manners and motivate children to apply the knowledge Interpreted, but let me question the effectiveness of the work. I think the children will enjoy reading and looking at the pictures, but the effectiveness is the book in terms of agitation Changes in behavior? Another appreciation for this book I Had that almost all the names of different types of dinosaurs were they discreetly written on the corresponding pages. For example, the start page of the book states, "How a dinosaur eats all his food? Does he burp, has not belch, or make noises quite rude?" And shows "Cryolophosaurus" on the edge of the illustrated table.
As you can see, the language Carries a rhythmic flow partly due to occasional use rhymes and illustrations capture the reader's interest and to support the text. Another thought I had is that this book would be useful to students who show poor table manners not only because they were introduced to the proper American way of behaving at the family table. By reading this book, children of non-American parents can learn how they can also show respect in the homes of their American friends.

How Do Dinosaurs Go to School? By Jane Yolen & Mark Teague

How Do Dinosaurs Go to School? By Jane Yolen & Mark Teague

A great mix of realistic drawings and cartoon style dinosaur living in the world of people going to school. In the beginning of the story he tells of all the fuss a dinosaur could be doing because they are different than others, but then the dinosaur does really well in school and plays very well with friends. This is a nice book to be a metaphor for a child who feels different to others, and how there is always a place to fit in and act is not the answer. It is a beautiful book that can also gain a love for reading and dinosaurs in general for children. I think parents would like to read this book to their children and explain how the school operates using dinosaurs!

The Little Mermaid by Katie Thamer Treherne (Illustrator)

The Little Mermaid by Katie Thamer Treherne (Illustrator)

Published in Denmark, Den Lille Havfrue Tales Andersen's mermaid who longs to be human in order to win a romantic love and salvation, eternity has been retold countless times and interpreted by the author. many different artists. I suspect it is the most well-known tale of the love of many authors. Of course, it is part of the modification.

As mentioned in my review of version Charles Santore This has always held a certain fascination for me, despite the fact that it was not one of my favorite fairy tales. This by Katie Thamer Treherne solid part - but by no means great - models with attractive illustrations and watercolors (mostly) narrative faithful little more than the abridged version. Santore (itself based on the nineteenth century by Mary Howitt translation), but it hits all the major points and is sure to please all. But the most die-hard of fans, I would not put on the same footing with humility Santore, but it is still a very attractive addition to any library saga.

A Lime, a Mime, a Pool of Slime by Brian P. Cleary
