Faster! Faster! by Leslie Patricelli
Faster! Faster! by Leslie Patricelli
A good companion to rise up! Many of the clues are great for little ones to think about what comes next. (Eagle feathers for that to happen; The tail of the Cheetahs) and a lot of good detail for adults to smile at the baby from the mother on a swing with it. "Higher, higher !!" as a young woman and her father started to play. The document led to the continuation in the name and love stories, how each animal was pooped after their return to the girl; Love's father tied around the neck of each animal's paw print on the Jolly Roger pirate ship puppies. And yes, a monkey again - this time in a submarine. Details best though: tired eyes in the turtle, animals, clouds and shadows of clouds on endpaper back on the surface of the ocean ... like small touches. But it really makes you feel like you are high up.
OK, stop rattling on about this book now. Can not wait to take on the Storytime Baby!
