How Do Dinosaurs Say Merry Christmas? By Jane Yolen & Mark Teague
How Do Dinosaurs Say Merry Christmas? By Jane Yolen & Mark Teague
Very similar to the title of Hanukkah, except, of course, about Christmas. The humor comes from seeing the realistic looking dinosaurs, oversized (but not on the scale as far as I know), interacting with humans and Christmas time items such as Christmas trees and so on. The art manages to inject a lot of personality in dinosaurs, giving it a sly look, which is a manic look, etc. They're pretty adorable. The history yet a contrast both good and bad behavior of Christmas (gift everyone unpacking before Christmas, licking all the candy canes, eat all the cookies vs caroling, tree cutting, kiss your grandparents and sleep when Santa comes). It would make a good title storytime due to the oversize format and the popular subject.
